Plates in The Nature and Power of Mathematics

I produced of the following images of the Mandelbrot set using a collection of C progams that I wrote for this purpose. The images are published in the book The Nature and Power of Mathematics, by Don Davis (ISBN: 0-691-02562-2) where they appear as color plates 1-10 and also in part on the cover.
